$55 Million Expansion of 32-Acre Palmer Trinity Private School

Palmer Trinity Private School, Inc.

Representation of Palmer Trinity Private School, Inc. in connection with the school's $55 million expansion of its current campus onto an adjacent, 32-acre parcel of land that it acquired specifically for that purpose in 2003. Bilzin Sumberg's representation included providing land use and zoning counsel, and successfully representing the client in eight appellate proceedings related to the Village of Palmetto Bay's opposition to the campus expansion. Additionally, while the zoning appeals were ongoing, our team served as co-counsel on a $17 million damage suit brought against the Village in response to the its arbitrary and unreasonable actions to prevent the school expansion. Our team satisfactorily addressed the Village's remaining concerns regarding the campus expansion and successfully negotiated a settlement of the damages claimed.
