Melissa C. Pallett-Vasquez Appointed Vice-Chair of ABA International Canada Committee

Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP announced that Litigation Partner, Melissa C. Pallett-Vasquez, was appointed Vice-Chair of the Canada Committee of the American Bar Association Section of International Law (ABA International) for the 2013-2014 term.

The ABA International Canada Committee focuses on programs and policy related to international and cross-border issues affecting Canada and its trading partners.

With significant experience representing clients from Canada and South America, Ms. Pallett-Vasquez handles complex commercial litigation matters and international arbitrations. She was recently named one of the South Florida Business Journal's "40 Under 40" for her professional success and community involvement, which includes serving as President of the South Florida Chapter of the McGill University Alumni Association and providing pro bono legal representation to children who are victims of abuse through the non-profit organization Lawyers for Children America.
