Jennifer J. Wioncek
Jennifer Wioncek is a highly experienced tax and private client attorney who handles the sophisticated planning needs of high-net-worth individuals, families, businesses and family offices. With decades of experience, she has a versatile practice advising both U.S.-based clients with respect to their personal tax and wealth planning and structuring investments overseas, as well as advising foreign taxpayers on their complex cross-border planning that has a U.S. connection.
Jennifer’s expansive practice covers international and domestic tax and estate planning, business succession planning, intra-generational wealth transfer strategies, family office planning, pre-immigration tax planning, expatriation tax planning, private trust company structuring, cross-border estate administration, tax structuring for investment funds with foreign investors, and the acquisition, maintenance, and sale of U.S. real estate by foreigners. She also regularly advises fiduciaries with respect to their fiduciary duties in the administration of trusts and estates and has advised fiduciaries and beneficiaries through probate and trust disputes.
Jennifer is an active lecturer on many topics and has been an adjunct professor in the University of Miami Tax LLM program for over 15 years. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (“ACTEC”), a prominent professional organization of approximately 2,600 lawyers who have demonstrated the highest level of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence, and experience as trust and estate counselors. Jennifer is also a Member of the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law, and a board member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Miami Branch (STEP Miami) with TEP recognition.
