Mildred Gomez is an Associate in Bilzin Sumberg's Tax and Estate Planning Groups, where she is developing her practice in the areas of estate planning, estate tax planning, asset protection planning, generation-skipping transfer tax planning and probate and trust administration.
While attending law school, Mildred served as a teaching assistant in Legal Research and Writing and as a Research Editor for The Florida Law Review. Additionally, she served as Secretary for the Spanish American Law Student Association and was an active member of the International Law Society. Mildred also volunteered with the Three Rivers Legal Services, a private, not-for-profit corporation which provides free civil legal assistance to the low-income community of North Central Florida.
Mildred holds an LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami and a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, Mildred studied in San Jose, Costa Rica.
