Bilzin Sumberg Associate Steven J. Wernick Appointed To The Tropical Pioneers Executive Council Of The Historical Museum of Southern Florida

Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP announced that Steven J. Wernick, an Associate in the firm's Land Use & Government Relations Group, has been selected to serve on the Tropical Pioneers Executive Council of the Historical Museum of Southern Florida.  As a member of the Executive Council, he will assist with the coordination and administration of social events, community projects and volunteer service, as well as fundraising activities to support the museum's exhibitions and community outreach programs.

The Historical Museum of Southern Florida is one of the largest private regional history museums in the United States, and features collections and exhibits relating to the unique history of Southeast Florida and the cultures and trends that have helped to shape the area.   

Mr. Wernick represents clients in all aspects of the development approval process, including planning and zoning applications, developments of regional impact, development agreements and complex environmental and land use permitting.  He has also represented client interests in administrative and quasi-judicial hearings, code enforcement hearings, government procurements and the negotiation of public/private incentive agreements.
