Beth R. Kigel, Senior Vice President Of KBS Strategies Group, Appointed To The Palm Beach County Criminal Justice Commission
Miami, FL – KBS Strategies Group LLC announced that its Senior Vice President and Government Relations Consultant, Beth R. Kigel, was appointed to the Palm Beach County Criminal Justice Commission (CJC). Ms. Kigel was nominated by the Economic Council of Palm Beach County and appointed by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners as a representative from the private sector. The CJC was created in 1988 to encourage strong partnerships for the improvement of the criminal justice system in Palm Beach County. The organization is comprised of 12 private sector business leaders, as well as 21 sector members from local, state and federal governmental and criminal justice agencies. Ms. Kigel has over 18 years of experience serving the Public Sector as a corporate representative. As a public servant, she has participated on advisory boards including as a member of the Board of Directors for both the Palm Beach County Sports Commission and Chair of the Palm Beach County Groundwater and Natural Resource Protection Board, both of which are appointments by the Palm Beach County Commission. She also served on Governor Charlie Crist's Transition Team for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. She has also locally chaired campaigns for Governor Charlie Crist, John McCain 2008, and Bill McCollum for Governor. Within the business community, Ms. Kigel is also a member of the Economic Council of Palm Beach County, a Trustee and Board Member of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, and a Trustee Member of the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce.
