As part of the Real Estate Group, Joseph works with lenders, borrowers, investors, owners, and developers on commercial real estate transactions. In doing so, he handles the acquisition, construction financing, and disposition of various property types across multifamily, commercial, and industrial asset classes. He also advises on leasing matters involving commercial properties.

Q & A

How does your training outside of law strengthen your practice?

My graduate level training in business has been highly valuable in reinforcing my real estate practice. Through extensive coursework in accounting and finance, I understand the key metrics driving the client’s business decisions. This allows me to put on my “business cap” when thinking through legal issues, assessing how certain legal decisions affect the client’s bottom-line and business operations in the near and long term.
