Sacha A. Boegem is a senior Associate in the Litigation Group, where he focuses his practice on antitrust and complex commercial litigation, as well as on representing originators and sellers of mortgage loans throughout the country as they defend against loan repurchase claims made by banks and other investors. Sacha has substantial courtroom and trial experience, including significant participation in several federal and state trials involving alleged violations of state and federal antitrust and unfair competition laws.
Previously an attorney in New York City, Sacha worked in the litigation department of one of the city’s most prestigious law firms, as well as at an internationally renowned antitrust litigation boutique. His experience includes representing major corporations in all aspects of complex commercial litigation and arbitration. His antitrust-specific experience includes representing an electronic products distributor in a suit brought against LCD panel manufacturers for violations of federal and state antitrust laws, and representing outpatient medical imaging providers in several successful lawsuits for group boycott and market allocation claims against a benefits management company.
Sacha's experience includes a White House internship in the Office of Political Affairs and Office of the Vice President & Domestic Policy Council, and a Congressional internship with former United States Senator Christopher J. Dodd of Connecticut. Sacha is also an active member of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation’s Jewish Community Relations Council, through which he advocates regularly in Washington, D.C. and Tallahassee on behalf of public policies that are important to the local community and that reflect universal values of social justice.
In 2013, Sacha was recognized by Florida Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in antitrust litigation.
