Q & A
What challenges do you see facing the Miami area?
One of the biggest challenges facing Miami is its lack of transportation infrastructure. I am very excited to be working on some of Miami’s key transportation-oriented development. Creating a better transit system for Miami is critical to its transformation into a world-class city.
What client relationship are you most proud of?
One of my clients is a long-time real estate developer. The relationship started out with one matter, but within a number of months the relationship grew. I helped them rethink the way they were using legal services as a business. Most recently I helped them with a government request for proposal on a $400 million redevelopment for a private-public partnership.
How have mentors shaped the way you practice law?
The culture at Bilzin Sumberg is unique. Training and education are built into the way we think about our work every single day. Almost everyone here is a mentor. My mentors have helped me learn more about communicating with clients and fostering relationships with the community outside the office.
