Q & A
How do you provide value as a team member on a case?
Our clients' business objectives are always our top priority. I proactively seek out ways in which we can develop and strengthen our legal position. In preparing for depositions, I help by identifying all relevant documents, including any which may potentially be damaging to our clients. My objective is to prepare our clients in an efficient and effective manner, which includes anticipating questions about the nature or content of documents as well as opposing counsel’s overall strategy.
How do you maximize efficiency?
I am deeply involved in every step of the process. I have an overarching view of the litigation process and the timeline to accomplish necessary tasks. I also have an appreciation for the effort required to reach our goals. This insight allows me to ask targeted questions, take immediate actions, and anticipate future tasks, challenges, and deadlines. The result is maximized value for the time I spend on my cases and the services rendered, while avoiding any form of duplication.
Which past experiences have most shaped your career?
I have always had a strong desire to promote human rights, whether it be through my service work in South America or advocating for trafficking victims during law school. The concept of justice inspired me to learn about the law, how it affects communities, and how it can be used to improve lives.
