Q & A
What makes a good litigator?
Good litigators are flexible. Every case presents a different set of facts, and you have to be willing to adjust to those facts regardless of previous experiences. As a litigator, you have to be willing to dive into each individual case with a fresh set of eyes. I always look for creative and innovative ways to bring new theories or strategies to the table to help our clients achieve their goals.
What is the best piece of advice you ever received?
You can’t be afraid to try a case. Many lawyers develop entire case strategies around the idea that every case will ultimately settle but you will never get the best results for your clients unless you are fully prepared to stand up in a courtroom in front of a jury.
