Steve assists companies in successfully navigating some of the most complex legal, tax, and business challenges imaginable. Q & A
What experiences have shaped your career?
I started my career with one of the largest national law firms, then I was an in-house lawyer, and I have been at Bilzin Sumberg for 18 years. All of those different experiences built a great competitive background and have added to my ability to be an excellent counselor and advisor.
What skill makes you a unique lawyer?
One of my strongest points is my ability to execute complex drafting. I am very efficient at it. I can do it, make it understandable and unambiguous, and my clients really appreciate it.
What is your client service philosophy?
I have an understanding of the needs of the client from the client's perspective that someone in-house might not be able to appreciate. I strive to give extraordinary service: Deals get done; deadlines are met.

Steve served for nearly five years as the Recording Secretary for The Florida Bar task force that drafted the new Florida Revised Limited Liability Act, which was enacted in 2013.

"I know my clients' industries, and I know their practices. I understand what they're doing across the board, so there is consistency in how I treat situations."
