Q & A
As a Miami Native, what excites you most about your role in the city's development?
The constant expanding footprint of new developments in South Florida gives me special pride to see my city growing. Representing developers with ties to this community provides me a front row seat to the future of Miami’s skyline. Lastly, this growth has allowed Miami to evolve as a cultural and international business hub - - in particular for the Hispanic community.
What do you enjoy most about your practice?
I like being able to see projects going up from the ground, assisting clients with the vision that they have for a project, and crystalizing that from beginning to end. One of the advantages of working on both transactional and litigation matters is that the contracts we draft are often used throughout the life cycle of a project to protect our client's interests. This helps us finalize a project’s development in a much more efficient manner and avoid disputes that can cause delays.
How do you describe the dynamic within the team?
Our team works in close collaboration to achieve our clients' goals. The partners serve as invaluable resources providing a plethora of experience, knowledge and developing strategy. This close collaboration is what helps our team thrive. We focus on assisting clients in getting their projects underway, keeping progress going, and, ultimately, achieving successful closeout.
