Stacia focuses on all aspects of corporate finance, including securitizations, debt restructurings, and workouts, and regularly represents clients in debt capital market transactions, joint ventures, and other secured and unsecured senior, mezzanine, and subordinate financings. Stacia also has experience representing clients in aviation and maritime finance transactions, as well as project financings (with a particular focus on public-private partnerships in the United States and Canada).
 
Stacia's clients include private equity firms, commercial lending institutions, private financiers, public and private companies in a variety of industries, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals. She has extensive experience representing borrowers, lenders, underwriters and trustees in sophisticated financing transactions, including loan syndications, mortgage warehouse lending, cash flow and asset based financings, real estate financings, equipment financing (including aviation and maritime financing), interest rate swap and other derivative arrangements, debt and equity issuances (including 144(a) offerings), securitizations, acquisition financing, construction and project financing, and intercreditor arrangements. Her work with individuals and family offices consists of a full range of corporate and transactional needs, including direct investments, finance, acquisitions, recapitalizations, other liquidity events and corporate governance. She frequently counsels family investors in connection with their investments in private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds.

What kind of relationship do you like to have with your clients?
My goal is to be both a trusted advisor and superior legal counsel to my clients. I try to not only develop a good professional relationship with them, but also a friendly, amicable relationship outside of the office. I firmly believe that knowing and understanding your clients is the key to successfully representing them.
Do you ever work across practices at the Firm?
I would be hard-pressed to name a deal where I have not reached out to someone in our Tax, Real Estate or Land Use practice. It is part of what we do here, being able to work collaboratively with our colleagues.
