Representation of special servicers in connection with billions of dollars of loan assumptions and equity transfers, involving loan modifications to reserve requirements, permitted transfer language and other provisions of the loan documents, forward and reverse 1031 exchanges, post-securitization mezzanine loans and preferred equity investments, companion loans, co-lender, intercreditor agreements, redevelopment releases, REA, Rating Agency Confirmation, non-consolidation opinion, single purpose entity, REIT, Fund and REMIC issues. The loans were secured by all property classes located throughout the United States and its territories, including Guam and Puerto Rico, and had face amounts from a few million to hundreds of millions of dollars, the largest of which was $520 million.
