Representation of Developer on Various Issues Regarding a Scrap Metal Recycling Facility

Developer
Representation of developer in the environmental, stormwater, pre-condemnation, and eminent domain issues associated with a scrap metal recycling facility in Miami, Florida. Our environmental attorneys handled the approval request from the Environmental Quality Control Board to allow the continued use of exfiltration trenches for stormwater management. Additionally, Miami-Dade County filed eminent domain proceedings to take a portion of the property for future expansion of its Metrorail system. We handled the application for Administrative Modification from the Miami-Dade County Department of Planning & Zoning which sought modifications to the previously approved plan to permit the continued operation of the scrap metal recycling facility on the property.
