Representation of a developer in assessing and remediating groundwater contamination of a property in South Beach. The client purchased a parking lot that was the former site of a laundry and dry cleaning facility. Bilzin Sumberg coordinated with the client's environmental consultants, negotiated with the Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources, and assisted engineers in locating contaminated groundwater and developing a cleanup method.
