Michael N. Kreitzer and Philip R. Stein to Serve as Co-Chairs of Subcommittees of The American Bar Association

Miami, Florida, August 12, 2008 Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP announced today that Michael N. Kreitzer and Philip R. Stein, partners in the Litigation Group, have been selected by the American Bar Association to serve as co-chairs of two subcommittees. Mr. Kreitzer was chosen as Co-Chair of the Federal Rules Revision Subcommittee, while Mr. Stein was selected as Co-Chair of the Recent Court Decisions Subcommittee. Both subcommittees are part of the Litigation Pretrial Practice & Discovery ("PP&D") Committee, which keeps members informed of legislative proposals, rule changes and court decisions regarding Pre-Trial and Discovery issues.

Mr. Kreitzer, Co-Chair of Bilzin Sumberg's Litigation Group, focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes, lender liability and related financial institution litigation, construction litigation, and shareholder and partnership disputes. He represents clients in eminent domain concerns, trusts and probate matters, common carrier law and product liability disputes, as well as intellectual property claims, professional malpractice and commercial landlord/tenant disputes.

Mr. Stein focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. He is experienced in litigation involving: financial fraud and business torts; commercial contracts; complex business disputes; corporate governance; trade secrets; executive compensation; and professional liability issues. Mr. Stein has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in trials, appeals and arbitration proceedings.
