A. Vicky Garcia-Toledo to Serve on Florida International University's President's Council
Miami, Florida, February 13, 2009 - Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP announced today that Land Use & Government Relations Partner, A. Vicky Garcia-Toledo, has been nominated to serve as a member of Florida International University's (FIU) President's Council. Ms. Garcia-Toledo's nomination marks another success for the firm's Bilzin Sumberg Cares community giving program.
"Over the course of a relatively short time, Florida International University has grown from a small community school to one of national and international recognition, a strong beacon in the south Florida community and a major presence in the academic world," said Ms. Garcia-Toledo, who is a prominent member of the south Florida Hispanic community and 1979 alumna of Florida International University.
