Gender Pay Disparity

Journal of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers

Publication
Summer 2013
Women lawyers leave Big Law firms in much larger than their male counterparts, mostly because of dissatisfaction with their careers. The National Association of Women Lawyers found that since 2006, one in two associates is a woman. As women move up the career ladder, their percentages grow smaller at each rung of the ladder until only one of every seven equity partners is a woman.
