Redevelopment of Historic Jackson Marina in Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale Boat Club

Representation of the Fort Lauderdale Boat Club in redevelopment of historic Jackson Marina. Plans included the creation of wet and dry storage for over 400 boats, retail office space, a kitchen facility, and an exclusive boat condominium. We handled all environmental implications dealing with air quality control, dock permitting, and underground storage tank groundwater issues. We provided counsel on three distinct areas of permits: environmental permits, zoning related permits, and non-zoning land development permits. We were also instrumental in obtaining air quality permitting for the project. We handled all zoning hearings, resulting in obtainment of the marina renovation entitlement.
