Blitz Build: Lending a Helping Hand for our Community

Giving back to the community in a positive way as we helped build in the Scott Carver Community, in the heart of Liberty City.
Bilzin Sumberg was also honored as a volunteer with a house being dedicated in its name during this year's Habitat for Humanity Blitz Build for the firm's continued support of the organization. Every year, the attorneys routinely perform pro bono work for Habitat for Humanity. Additionally, the staff and their families volunteer with building houses as part of the Bilzin Sumberg Cares initiative, an employee-based community volunteer program that was conceived in 2007 and sprang from the firm's commitment to the positive development of the community.
On January 26, Habitat for Humanity will officially dedicate the Bilzin Sumberg House in honor of the firm's involvement with the organization to the Sanon family. As part of the Bilzin Sumberg Cares initiative, 13 summer associates participated in the building of this house. The firm's commitment to the community and Habitat for Humanity extends far beyond the office, and stems from a genuine desire to better the people and places around it.
