Bilzin Sumberg Receives Recognition from Jewish Community Services of South Florida, Inc. for Community Volunteer Work

Bilzin Sumberg was recognized by Jewish Community Services of South Florida, Inc.(JCS)for its community volunteer work with the Seymour Gelber Senior Day Care Center. An award was presented to the firm at JCS' Annual Meeting and Awards Presentation on June 4, 2009.
Last year,Bilzin Sumberg designated the Seymour Gelber Senior Day Care Center as the beneficiary of Bilzin Sumberg Cares' second annual Bilzin Sumberg Cares Service Day, marking the program's one-year anniversary. Firm volunteers painted and landscaped the grounds, as well as interacted with the center's clients through various activities including arts and crafts and board games.

On February 8, in connection with its Bilzin Sumberg Cares community involvement program, Bilzin Sumberg partnered with United Way Miami to support Norland Elementary School through the enhancement and beautification of the school’s campus in North Miami.
Bilzin Sumberg Partner Sara Barli Herald has been honored with PhilanthropyMiami’s Hank Raattama Community Champion Award, recognizing her decades-long leadership, civic engagement, and philanthropic commitment to advancing youth, education, and community impact throughout Greater Miami.
On March 8, in connection with its Bilzin Sumberg Cares community involvement program, Bilzin Sumberg partnered with United Way Miami to support the Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS) in the enhancement and beautification of its affiliated facility in South Miami.
