Misbah Farid co-taught a session on "U.S. Transfer Tax Considerations for the International Private Client Advisor" as part of Jennifer Wioncek's course, "Representing High Net Worth Individuals" at the University of Miami School of Law Tax LL.M. The class covered the concept of domicile for U.S. estate tax purposes as opposed to residency for U.S. income tax purposes and transfer taxation of non-U.S. domiciliaries, with special emphasis on gift and estate tax issues.
