Barshel participated in a panel discussion titled Florida's Energy Projects: Updates, Outlook, and Challenges at the 2021 Environmental Permitting Summer School hosted by the Florida Environmental Network. Panelists discussed federal and state policies and regulations which impact development, including tax and market incentives, net metering, transmission and distributed generation, project permitting considerations and challenges, stakeholder engagement, and a review of existing and future projects in Florida.
