Miami, Florida, May 23, 2006 Mindy A. Mora, a Partner in Bilzin Sumberg's Restructuring & Bankruptcy Group and an Executive Board Member of Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys (ACFA), recently spoke to private and in-house attorneys on recent legislative amendments and the resulting changes in commercial bankruptcy law. The event was held at the 2006 Continuing Legal Education Weekend on May 20, 2006 at the Contemporary Hotel in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

Ms. Mora participated on a panel with Judge Michael Williamson of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida and Judge Joel Rosenthal from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts.

"This seminar provides a great resource for commercial finance attorneys to understand and appreciate the impact of new developments in commercial bankruptcy law," stated Ms. Mora.

Ms. Mora has often lectured and published articles about insolvency and restructuring and also counsels high-visibility clients involved in major bankruptcy proceedings, throughout the state of Florida and nationally.

The membership of ACFA consists of attorneys in private practice and with corporations whose areas of practice emphasize matters of factoring, asset-based lending, bankruptcy and creditor problems in general. AFCA presently has more than three hundred fifty active members, representing more than twenty states and two foreign countries.

At Bilzin Sumberg, Ms. Mora focuses her practice on creditors rights, workouts, bankruptcy and commercial loan transactions. She is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and in Chambers USA. She has been active in the development of Florida's commercial laws, having co-sponsored the 1997 revisions to Article 8 and 1999 revisions to Article 9, Uniform Commercial Code (chapters 678 and 679, Florida Statutes). Ms. Mora received her B.B.A from George Washington University and her J.D. from New York University School of Law.
