Bilzin Sumberg Receives Cuban American Bar Association Law Firm Diversity Award

Miami, FL, April 14, 2008 The law firm of Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP announced today that it has received the Law Firm Diversity Award for large-size firms from the Cuban American Bar Association (CABA). The award was given at CABA's Annual Spring Mentor Reception on April 10.

The award was based on the results of a CABA survey, which asked attorneys to rate firms in compensation, quality of work assignments, and the possibility of promotion and client contacts. One of the most critical criteria used was an evaluation of the progress each firm had made towards diversity.

Bilzin Sumberg's efforts include a Holiday Reception for Minority Law Students, a Summer Reception for Minority Judicial Interns, breakfast with Congressmen Jim Clyburn and Kendall Meek, and participation in the Minority Job Fair and the Lavender Job Fair.
