Managing Partner John C. Sumberg Receives South Florida Business Journal's Ultimate CEO Award

Sumberg, the firm's managing partner, was one of 10 of Miami-Dade's top executives to be honored this year with the South Florida Business Journal's Ultimate CEO Award. This prestigious award recognizes CEOs who are both leaders in their organizations and their communities, and who demonstrate outstanding dedication and commitment to excellence.
Sumberg has served as the firm's managing partner since its inception, and has been practicing in the area of commercial real estate for more than 35 years. For his work in the legal sector, he is consistently recognized in peer rankings such as Chambers USA, South Florida Legal Guide Top Lawyers, Florida Trend's Legal Elite and The Best Lawyers in America.
"To maintain a thriving business, you need to constantly analyze, assess, and adjust according to the demands of the current market," said Sumberg in response to the question of what makes a successful managing partner. In addition to maintaining his practice, Sumberg sits on the Board of Directors for several local nonprofit organizations. He is the Vice Chairman of Symmetry School Foundation and a Trustee and Campaign Legal Division Co-Chair of The United Way of Miami-Dade. Additionally, Sumberg serves as General Counsel to Drug Free Youth In Town (DFYIT) and an Advisory Board Member of the Sundari Foundation.
South Florida Business Journal's Ultimate CEO Award was presented on Thursday, June 24th at the The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove. Other honorees included, Michael A.
