Mitchell and Glenn Widom Named 2011 CCFA Modell Business Leadership Award Winners
Miami, FL - Litigation Group Practice Group Leader Mitchell Widom and his brother, Glenn, have been selected as the Modell Business Leadership Award Winners for 2011. The award is typically presented to one recipient per year to the volunteer who has exhibited indisputable leadership in providing support for the mission of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA).
Mr. Widom's support of the CCFA's mission includes activities through awareness building, revenue generation and business leadership of the foundation. Most notably, Mr. Widom is the founder of the Sabadell United Bank Keymorada Fly-Spin Invitational Tournament to benefit the CCFA. It is one of the largest law firm charitable events in the state, which has raised over $2.1 million dollars for the CCFA since 2005.
The brothers Widom were selected from 16 candidates and were acknowledged at the CCFA 2012 Annual Meeting in Atlanta, GA on March 1, 2012.
Mr. Widom is a Partner at Bilzin Sumberg, as well as Litigation Group Practice Group Leader of the firm. He has a commercial trial practice with extensive experience in numerous jury and non-jury cases.
