Albert E. Dotson, Jr. Receives The Education Fund's Public School Alumni Achievement Award
Miami - Bilzin Sumberg is pleased to announce that Land Use & Government Relations partner, Albert E. Dotson, Jr. was honored as a recipient of The Education Fund's 2012 Public School Alumni Achievement Award. The annual awards were presented at The Education Fund's 2012 Annual Charity Auction on May 24 to outstanding local leaders who are graduates of local public schools.
Mr. Dotson's practice encompasses federal and local government procurement contracts and compliance. He represents real estate developers in securing land use, zoning and other government approvals and permits for large-scale real estate developments.
In addition to maintaining a successful practice, Mr. Dotson serves as the National Chairman for 100 Black Men of America, an appointee to the Florida Federal Judicial Nominating Commission, past Chairman and member of the Overtown Youth Center board, and past President and member of the Orange Bowl Committee board.
Mr. Dotson attended Palmetto High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University.
