Attorney Eric Singer Appointed to Miami Intermodal Center Steering Committee

Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP announced that Government Relations & Land Development attorney, Eric Singer, was appointed to the Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) Steering Committee, the decision-making body of the $2 billion ground transportation hub being constructed to connect Miami International Airport with South Florida's business and tourist destinations.

As a member of the MIC Steering Committee, Mr. Singer joins representatives from 12 participating stakeholders, including the Florida Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and other federal, state and local agencies tasked with coordinating the project’s components and resolving interagency conflicts.

The MIC includes the construction of Miami Central Station, the County's first ground transportation hub. Once complete, the station will link various modes of transportation, including Metrorail, Tri-Rail, Amtrak, Metrobus, intercity bus services, taxis, and rental cars.

Mr. Singer's practice focuses on government procurement contracts and the development approval process, including planning and zoning applications, government approvals and permits. Mr. Singer also represents clients in quasi-judicial matters and has handled land use cases in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels.
