Effective January 1, 2014, Real Estate attorney Bryan Hawks, Corporate & Tax attorney Joshua A. Kaplan and Restructuring & Bankruptcy attorney Jeffrey I. Snyder became the firm's newest partners.

Bryan Hawks
Mr. Hawks handles commercial real estate transactions including the leasing, acquisition, development and disposition of hotels, resorts, restaurants, marinas and retail projects. He has been involved in a number of high-profile projects including the $305.1 million refinancing of more than 40 properties in the Miami Design District, the largest construction financing in South Florida since the 2008 real estate crash. Mr. Hawks is recognized as a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers.
Joshua A. Kaplan
Mr. Kaplan handles tax planning related to international and domestic transactions, including restructurings, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he advises private investment funds on the tax aspects of investments in securities, real estate and joint ventures. Mr. Kaplan is a frequent contributor to Bilzin Sumberg's New Miami Blog, providing insight on tax issues related to Miami's emergence as a global destination and center of commerce.
Jeffrey I. Snyder
