Javier F. Aviñó Named a "40 Under 40" Honoree by the South Florida Business Journal

Aviñó was honored as one of the South Florida Business Journal's "40 Under 40 Class of 2014" The awards recognize the most dynamic individuals under the age of 40 who work diligently to contribute to their company's growth and to improve the local community. Winners were featured in a special section of the SFBJ highlighting fun facts about the honorees.
As a Partner in the Government Relations & Land Development Group, Javier's work on high-profile properties throughout South Florida has shaped our city's skyline. Javier assists clients in obtaining the necessary development approvals for major high-rise residential condominium and rental projects, commercial and institutional buildings, single family residential developments, affordable housing developments and public/private projects.
In addition to his membership with various professional organizations, Javier is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Latin Builders Association (LBA), the largest Hispanic construction association in the United States. The LBA and its board are proud of the recently opened LBA Construction and Business Management Charter High School, focused on equipping future builders, electricians and plumbers with the skills they need to open and manage their own businesses. The program offers high school students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma, receive industry certifications, college credits and start their own business.
Some lesser-known facts about Javier are that his fantasy job is being a chef at a five-star restaurant in Tuscany and that his favorite vacation spot is Siesta Key, FL. When not in the office, Javier can be found clowning around with his two kids.
