Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg is proud to announce its recognition by the Legal Services of Greater Miami (Legal Services) as the 2018 Equal Justice Pro Bono Impact Award recipient. The prestigious honor is awarded each year to those who have displayed exceptional pro bono services.
For over 50 years, Legal Services has been a powerful advocate for equal justice in the Miami-Dade/Monroe area. Providing free, civil legal services for thousands of members within the low-income communities of Miami-Dade/Monroe Counties, Legal Services relentlessly works to create a positive impact for the region. In 2017 alone, the services provided by Legal Services led to the recovery or savings of nearly $2.6 million for clients involved in disability, unemployment, child support, and government benefits.
