John C. Sumberg Named Among MCCJ's Silver Medallion Honorees

Miami, FL – John C. Sumberg, Chairman of Bilzin Sumberg, has been named among MCCJ's Silver Medallion honorees for his outstanding leadership in the Miami community. In a highly respected tradition since 1946, MCCJ has presented Silver Medallions to individuals whose humanitarian work parallels MCCJ's mission to advance understanding and respect among all cultures, religions, and races.
In his role as Chairman of Bilzin Sumberg, John leads the business and strategic operations of the firm. Under his leadership, community service has been a core value of the firm since its inception. Through Bilzin Sumberg Cares, the firm’s community involvement initiative currently in its eleventh year, the firm brings together attorneys and staff to volunteer in wide-ranging projects designed to enhance the lives of those in South Florida.
John leads several initiatives that promote social justice and equality including his leadership work with Lotus House, United Way of Miami-Dade, and Bilzin Sumberg Cares. These platforms have all promoted a more socially just community by serving those less fortunate.
