Press Release
October 25, 2023
Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg is pleased to announce Corporate Partner David S. Resnick and Public-Private Partnerships Partner Eric Singer have been selected as the firm’s 2023 Mentors of the Year, in recognition for their outstanding commitment to training, coaching, and mentoring junior attorneys at the firm.
“We recognize David Resnick and Eric Singer for their dedicated track record in imparting valuable skills to our young attorneys,” said Bilzin Sumberg Managing Partner Albert E. Dotson, Jr., “Their contributions have been noted by associates and partners throughout the firm.”
The 2023 Mentor of the Year Award constitutes the firm’s mentorship award – now in its second year - which was conceived to strengthen the emphasis that the firm places on mentorship activities, and more generally, to recognize the vital role that mentorship plays in preparing attorneys for improving client service and furthering professional development beyond the academic training received at law schools.
In addition to imparting professional skills and best practices to junior attorneys at the firm, David and Eric actively volunteer their time and experience to community and industry organizations that foster the development and growth of young professionals. David is an executive committee member of United Way Young Leaders, which is an engaged group of young professionals – 40 and younger – who are dedicated to building a stronger Miami by lending their knowledge and resources to projects that improve the lives of others in the community. Eric is on the Board of Directors of the Greater Miami and Keys Chapter of the American Red Cross, which serves over 2.5 million residents in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. Dedicated to mentorship and knowledge sharing, Eric is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and is also a member of Young Professionals in Infrastructure.
