Diversity & Flexibility Alliance Recognizes Bilzin Sumberg for Gender Inclusivity
Miami, FL - Bilzin Sumberg is proud to announce it has been awarded the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance’s Tipping the Scales award in recognition of its accomplishments in achieving gender equity among the firm’s partners. This marks the second consecutive year that the firm has received this honor since the inception of the Tipping the Scales awards in 2019.
The Diversity & Flexibility Alliance is an organization that partners with law firms, associations, and corporations to foster inclusive corporate cultures. Bilzin Sumberg was named as one of its awardees because over half of the firm’s 2023 attorneys promoted to partner are women. The firm is one of only 75 major law firms, from a field of over 200, with 50% or more women in their 2023 new partner class.

The Tipping the Scales award forms part of the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance’s 2023 New Partner Report, a yearly compilation and examination of publicly released data from its members, including the nation’s largest and top-grossing law firms. Generated since 2012, the report examines the gender breakdown of attorneys promoted to partnership in the U.S. offices of researched firms.
