Mildred Gomez Appointed to the Board of Directors of Our Pride Academy

Coinciding with World Down Syndrome Day, Mildred’s appointment speaks to her dedication in serving the South Florida community’s educational needs, building upon her pre-law career as a public school teacher.
Our Pride Academy is a non-profit organization that works to meet the unique academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of people with developmental disabilities using innovative and proven research-based techniques. Through partnerships with private and public agencies, OPA provides opportunities for their students to grow and develop. As a member of the Board of Directors, Mildred will support OPA’s mission to enhance the quality of life and learning potential of all of their students.
