Melissa Pallett-Vasquez Appointed Programs Officer of ABA International Law Section
MIAMI, FL- Bilzin Sumberg congratulates Head of Commercial Trial Practice Melissa Pallett-Vasquez on her appointment as Programs Officer of the American Bar Association's (ABA) International Law Section.
The appointment builds upon Melissa's extensive leadership within the Section, where she has served as Budget Officer, Revenue Officer, Liaison Officer, Division Chair, Vice-Chair of the Food, Agriculture & Cannabis Committee, and Co-Chair of the Canada Committee.
In her role as Programs Officer, Melissa will support the Section’s mission by leading and coordinating programming initiatives. Her responsibilities include developing strategic work plans, overseeing program execution, managing related budgets, and ensuring alignment with ABA policies. She will also collaborate with Section leaders and stakeholders to deliver high-quality programming across the Section’s committees, task forces, and working groups.
Melissa’s trial and litigation practice focuses on complex business disputes in federal and state courts and arbitration. Her practice encompasses class action defense and multi-jurisdictional litigation. She has been recognized by Chambers USA, Florida Trend's Legal Elite, Florida Super Lawyers, Benchmark Litigation, The Best Lawyers in America, and the Daily Business Review.
