Q & A
How does your training outside of law strengthen your practice?
My graduate level training in business has been highly valuable in reinforcing my real estate practice. Through extensive coursework in accounting and finance, I understand the key metrics driving the client’s business decisions. This allows me to put on my “business cap” when thinking through legal issues, assessing how certain legal decisions affect the client’s bottom-line and business operations in the near and long term.
What distinguishes Bilzin Sumberg from other law firms in the market?
All Bilzin Sumberg attorneys serve clients from our single, Miami-based office. This one-office framework encourages mentorship and collaboration across practice groups. When an issue arises, attorneys walk down the hall to problem solve with colleagues, rather than having to jump on a call with a colleague living thousands of miles away. As an associate, this proximity to skilled and experienced attorneys has streamlined my professional development and allows me to better serve clients on complex transactions.
