Laura Galeano

With more than 20 years of experience in legal marketing, Laura Galeano, Esq.* has a true passion for the interconnections between marketing and technology. As CMO, she oversee Bilzin Sumberg's business development and marketing functions, including client services, business development, marketing, communication, and technology management.

Many of the projects Laura works on involve the integration of platforms, launching technology products, and using technology to enhance our delivery of client value-adds. She regularly speaks on technology-related topics such as bridging the gap between marketing and knowledge management and challenges of CRM/ERM adoption in the legal industry.

In 2017 and 2013, together with Bilzin Sumberg's Chief Knowledge Officer, Laura co-managed the development of the firm's website that resulted in Bilzin Sumberg’s receipt of a first place Legal Marketing Association’s Southeastern Chapter (LMASE) "Your Honor Award." The website was also recognized as a 2017 Official Honoree of The Webby Awards.

Laura graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, with an emphasis in Legal Communication, from Florida State University. She received her J.D. from Florida International University, College of Law. Laura served on the LMASE board of directors from 2015 - 2016 and served as a member of LMA's Educational Advisory Committee from 2019 - 2020.
