Counsel to Grocery Store Chain in Bankruptcy

Plaza Loiza Corp.
Counsel to Plaza Loiza Corp. in the chapter 11 proceeding of Pueblo International, which was the largest chain of grocery stores in Puerto Rico. We assisted Plaza Loiza in its bid to acquire a significant portion of the debtor's assets as part of a section 363 sale. While unsuccessful at that juncture, we helped Plaza Loiza reach an agreement with the successful bidder after the auction and sales process, enabling our client to acquire certain assets critical to its business.
