Special Land Use Counsel to Buyer of Marina in Miami

Mid-Sized Real Estate Developer and Investment Company
Special land use counsel to real estate developer and investor based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We acted as special land use counsel regarding redevelopment of a Miami marina, performed extensive due diligence regarding land use, zoning, and environmental regulations, and handled the acquisition of additional land parcels. The issues presented concerned the impact of Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) regulations on a proposed warehouse facility that will house approximately 250 to 350 dry stack boat slips and maintain the existing 17 wet slips.
