Bilzin Sumberg Receives Recognition from Jewish Community Services of South Florida, Inc. for Community Volunteer Work

Bilzin Sumberg was recognized by Jewish Community Services of South Florida, Inc.(JCS)for its community volunteer work with the Seymour Gelber Senior Day Care Center. An award was presented to the firm at JCS' Annual Meeting and Awards Presentation on June 4, 2009.
Last year,Bilzin Sumberg designated the Seymour Gelber Senior Day Care Center as the beneficiary of Bilzin Sumberg Cares' second annual Bilzin Sumberg Cares Service Day, marking the program's one-year anniversary. Firm volunteers painted and landscaped the grounds, as well as interacted with the center's clients through various activities including arts and crafts and board games.

On March 3, in connection with its Bilzin Sumberg Cares community involvement program, Bilzin Sumberg partnered with United Way Miami to support the Belafonte TACOLCY Center in the enhancement and beautification of its affiliated facility in the Liberty City neighborhood of Miami.
On October 27, 2023, Miami Leadership Local held its Ensuring Economic Mobility Summit at the offices of hosting firm Bilzin Sumberg. Miami Leadership Local is an initiative led by the Miami Herald in partnership with the Miami Foundation and the Miami-Dade Beacon Council.
