Bilzin Sumberg Establishes Memorial Scholarship to Honor Damion Dunn
Miami, FL – To honor the memory of attorney Damion Dunn who passed away last year, Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP has created the "Bilzin Sumberg Scholarship In Memoriam of Damion Dunn."
Established as part of Bilzin Sumberg Cares, the firm's charitable involvement and diversity initiative, the $7,500 scholarship will be awarded to a Florida International University (FIU) Honors College student who intends to pursue a career in law and has demonstrated leadership ability in extracurricular activities.
The recipient will receive the scholarship over four years of undergraduate studies and must maintain a 3.0 GPA. He or she will be selected primarily on the basis of academic performance or potential. To honor Damion’s culture, preference will be given to candidates who share his Jamaican heritage.
