Bilzin Sumberg & Association of Corporate Counsel Donate to Miami Children's Hospital Foundation
Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP announced that in partnership with the Association of Corporate Counsel - South Florida Chapter (ACCA-SFL), the firm presented a $2,500 donation to the Miami Children's Hospital Foundation.
As the platinum sponsor of ACCA-SFL's 4th Annual Continuing Legal Education conference, Bilzin Sumberg selected the recipient of the donation through its charitable giving program, Bilzin Sumberg Cares. "Miami Children's Hospital is renowned as a leader in pediatric care, serving young patients in South Florida and beyond," said Melissa Pallett-Vasquez, Bilzin Sumberg litigation partner. "We wholeheartedly support their vision to help ensure the health and happiness of children everywhere."
The gift was raised through a silent auction held at the ACCA-SFL's recent conference at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, which was attended by over 170 attorneys and legal professionals from in and around South Florida.
ACCA-SFL provides educational, networking, pro bono and community service opportunities for its in-house attorney members. “ACCA-SFL has enjoyed its partnership with Bilzin Sumberg and their outstanding attorneys and staff for the past two years and we are very much looking forward to continuing the relationship,” said ACCA-SFL President, Kellee Cueto. “As an organization benefitting both the local community and beyond, the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation was the perfect recipient for this donation.”
