Melissa Pallett-Vasquez Appointed to Board for Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade

Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg is pleased to announce Melissa Pallett-Vasquez has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade.

The organization provides a myriad of targeted services ranging from character development to health awareness, all focused on the holistic wellbeing of youths in Miami-Dade.

As a partner in the Firm's Litigation Group, Melissa handles complex commercial litigation matters as well as domestic and international arbitrations, and appeals. She represents clients in areas including real estate-related contracts, partnership and joint venture agreements, defense of intentional tort claims, and class action defense work, with a focus on consumer products and the food and beverage industry.

Chambers USA lists Melissa as a recognized practitioner for her commercial litigation work. She has also been recognized by Benchmark Litigation as a Local Litigation Star and by Florida Super Lawyers as a Florida Rising Star. Actively engaged with our community, Melissa has served as a volunteer Attorney Ad Litem with Lawyers for Children for over a decade. She also serves as the American Bar Association International Law Section Co-Chair and is president of the South Florida Chapter of the McGill Alumni Association.
