GMCC R.E.A.L Awards Finalist
Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg is pleased to announce its recognition as a finalist in the Real Estate category of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce's (GMCC) 2018 R.E.A.L Awards.The annual R.E.A.L. Awards honors South Florida’s individuals and organizations that have performed exceptionally well in their respective field and demonstrated leadership in the community.
Bilzin Sumberg was recognized for its handling of complex real estate deals. Over the last 12 months, the Firm closed more than $4.3 billion in real estate finance, including more than $2 billion in construction financing. Further, the Firm handled major construction loans including Paramount Miami Worldcenter, Brickell Flatiron, Turnberry Ocean Club and the Hyde Beach Hotel project, which is a joint venture of Silverback Equity Partners, the Dezer family, and the Related Group of Florida.
The GMCC also gave significant consideration to how finalists serve the South Florida community. To that end, Bilzin Sumberg has made community service one of its core values. Bilzin Sumberg Cares, the Firm’s community involvement initiative currently in its eleventh year, is defined by its annual day of service focused on a specific project to help improve the local community.
