MIAMI, FL- Bilzin Sumberg congratulates Litigation Partner, Melissa Pallett-Vasquez, on her appointment as Liaison Officer of the American Bar Association's Section of International Law.
Melissa previously served as Division Chair of the ABA Section of International Law Cyber, Art & Technology Division.
Melissa Pallett-Vasquez is a seasoned trial lawyer who handles complex business disputes in both federal and state courts, as well as arbitration. Melissa handles class-action defense work with an emphasis on consumer products and consumer class claims, including those related to the food & beverage industries, deceptive labeling, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and the insurance industry. She also represents clients in a number of areas, including contracts, partnership and joint venture agreements, defense of intentional tort claims, internal investigations, and intellectual property litigation. Melissa has been listed in Florida Trend's Legal Elite since 2007 and has also been recognized by Chambers USA, Florida Super Lawyers, Benchmark Litigation, and The Best Lawyers in America.
