Karyl Argamasilla Elected as Vice Chair of United Way of Miami-Dade's Women United Committee

Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg is pleased to announce that Real Estate Partner Karyl Argamasilla has been elected as Vice Chair of United Way of Miami-Dade's Women United Committee. United Way of Miami-Dade's Women United Committee brings together a group of purpose-driven women, passionate about making a difference through philanthropy and service. Members care deeply about making lasting change to improve the lives of women, older adults, young children, and families. In her role as Vice Chair, Karyl will support the Women United Chair in leading over 2,000 Women United members in Miami-Dade County and in overseeing funds raised to achieve the Women United Executive Committee goals. She will also develop social media challenges to help garner attendance to Women United events, or to help with fundraising.

Karyl focuses her law practice on structuring and executing large commercial real estate transactions. She represents some of the largest special servicers of CMBS loans in the country, handling complex assumptions, transfers of interests, workouts, forbearances and loan modifications, among other transactions, with extensive work in the hospitality sector.

Outside of her practice, Karyl has been an active member of various community and professional organizations, including United Way of Miami-Dade's Women United Executive Committee, Commercial Real Estate Women Miami and Street Law’s Law Firm Diversity Pipeline Program.
